Technical Service Representative / Help Desk Support


Position Overview

NTE has an immediate opening for a full-time experienced electronics technician to manage its Technical Service Assistance/Help Desk. This is for
electronic component level support, not IT support. Established in 1979, NTE is a thriving electronics component supplier headquartered in Bloomfield, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Phone, e-mail and Live Chat communication with end-users and customers.
  • Research problems, answer technical questions, and provide product selection support using in-house library and on-line sources.
  • Inspect returned merchandise to determine if defective and disposition of product.
  • Inter-office communication with Sales and Product Managers.
  • Proof-read technical information created by marketing department.

Full time – Monday – Friday 9:00-5:00PM
Medical benefits/401K option. Salary: commensurate with experience
